About the Opportunity

As a Strategic Sourcing Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering cost-effective, high-quality Contracting outcomes for AGIG. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and establishing contracts, that align with AGIG’s business goals — ensuring compliance, improving supplier performance, and ultimately maximising customer satisfaction and business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support across the end-to-end strategic procurement process to support AGIG including the development of procurement strategy, managing go to market and the provision of quotations and management of supplier negotiations.
  • Manage procurement contracts across the lifecycle including contract establishment, amendments, performance reviews and dispute resolution.
  • Develop, negotiate and implement contracts that effectively balance desired commercial outcomes with appropriately managed risk in a timely manner, at the lowest sustainable total cost.
  • Undertake contract management of their portfolio of contracts within their projects i.e. amendments and extensions.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal procedures and policies

About You

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, or Contracts and Procurement Management desirable
  • 5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and administration
  • Proven experience managing Project contract packages within the resources or infrastructure sector
  • Strong understanding of risk and supply chain management processes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead procurement initiatives that deliver tangible cost savings and value
  • Familiarity with the pipeline or energy infrastructure sector is highly desirable
