Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 36,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 500 team members and manage a contractor workforce of approximately 1600, who provide both specialist and operating and maintenance services on AGIG’s gas distribution networks.

About the opportunity
AGIG is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Systems Officer to join our People and Culture team. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Systems Administrator, the role supports accurate people data and the effective delivery of payroll services.
You will manage employee data in SuccessFactors Employee Central, support employee lifecycle and organisational changes, and provide advice and operational support to managers and employees on People & Culture policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data in SuccessFactors Employee Central
- Create and maintain positions, organisational structures, reporting lines, and work schedules
- Process employee lifecycle changes, including onboarding, position changes, and data profiling across Employee Central and S/4HANA
- Act as the People & Culture systems SME for onboarding and performance review processes, including UAT support
- Manage People & Culture mailboxes, coordinating timely and accurate responses
- Maintain auditable documentation, P&C system playbooks, and support policy reviews and employee communications
About you
- Proven experience in a Human Resources or finance environment, preferably in an HR/Payroll Systems Administration role
- Knowledge of payroll processes and experience with SuccessFactors (highly desirable)
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with solid working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
