About the Opporunity
As the Senior Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing AGIG’s Market Systems, collaborating with stakeholders across IT and the business. You will play a key role in transitioning projects into business-as-usual (BAU), optimizing system performance, and supporting continuous improvement of enterprise applications such as SAP ERP/IS-U and CRM.
You will also contribute to key lifecycle planning activities, vendor performance oversight, and the delivery of initiatives that improve system stability and business outcomes.
Please note: This is 6 month fixed term role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategies, processes, and pain points
- Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions
- Work with Business Engagement and Project teams to scope and prioritize system enhancements
- Support configuration, workflows, and customizations within SAP ERP/IS-U, CRM, and related platforms
- Lead the planning and execution of application upgrades and lifecycle management
- Ensure seamless transition of projects into operational support with minimal ongoing cost
- Identify recurring issues and propose process and system optimization initiatives
- Review and contribute to service and solution designs with Enterprise Architects and Service Management
- Assess impacts of new technologies on existing solutions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of AGIG’s Application Lifecycle Management framework
- Drive performance of external application vendors and collaborate with internal IT services teams
- Maintain a strong understanding of the AGIG application ecosystem and ensure alignment with architectural best practices
About You
- Tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Solid understanding of SDLC, software package integration, and ITSM practices
- Strong grasp of ITIL principles and experience with service management tools
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level application solutions
- Experience in complex environments supporting business-critical systems
- Broad experience with enterprise platforms including SAP ERP, SAP IS-U, and SAP C4C
- Familiarity with integration tools such as webMethods
- Proven experience working with Application Managed Services Providers (AMSPs)
- Knowledge of application best practices and lifecycle planning
- Experience in the Utilities or related service industry is highly desirable
