Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 500 team members and manage a contractor workforce of approximately 1600, who provide both specialist and operating and maintenance services on AGIG’s gas distribution networks.

About the opportunity
We are currently seeking a Remuneration and Benefits Manager to play a key role in nurturing a positive culture, enhancing AGIG’s remuneration activities and attraction strategies, and ensuring our people feel valued through meaningful reward initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our Total Remuneration Strategy, managing frameworks, and delivering insights that support workforce engagement and governance.
This is a fixed-term position until February 2027, covering parental leave. We are looking for someone with a strategic mindset and strong analytical skills, who is ready to take accountability and make a meaningful impact at AGIG.
The location of this position is flexible.
Key responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful insights and reporting that foster workforce engagement, support governance, and guide decision-making across the business
- Support and coach leaders, helping teams understand AGIG's reward principles, employment regulations, and incentive frameworks to build capability and consistency
- Collaborate with external providers to manage market data, equity plans, and incentive program administration
- Contribute to the design and delivery of reward programs that reflect AGIG's values of Trust, Accountability, Care, and One Team
- Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking using the Korn Ferry framework to ensure fair, transparent, and competitive remuneration practices
- Deliver the annual remuneration cycle, including market analysis, financial modelling, and executive remuneration calibration aligned with AGIG's strategic goals
About you
- Extensive experience in remuneration
- Technical knowledge and experience with the Korn Ferry job evaluation framework
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data to provide valuable insights and recommendations
- Proficiency in SuccessFactors, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to build strong working relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Human Resources or related disciple
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
