AGIG manages distribution networks, transmission pipelines and storage capacity. About the Opportunity

We are seeking two Cyber Security Operations Analysts to join our Cyber Security team. Reporting to the Cyber Security Operations Manager within the Finance & Technology division, this role plays an important part in protecting AGIG’s technology environment by monitoring security events, responding to cyber threats, supporting incident investigations and contributing to the continuous improvement of our cyber security capability.

 

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, you will help ensure our security controls, systems and services effectively manage cyber security risks while supporting the ongoing operation and enhancement of AGIG’s cyber security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyse and respond to cyber security events, alerts and incidents across the organisation.
  • Manage security event and incident queues, supporting the investigation, response and reporting of cyber security incidents.
  • Administer and support cyber security tools, technologies and services to maintain a strong security posture.
  • Assess Change Management requests and technology changes to identify and manage cyber security risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to implement, maintain and improve security controls and services.
  • Support vulnerability management, security reporting, technology upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen cyber resilience.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or industry-recognised certification in Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Cyber Security Operations Analyst or similar role, with experience supporting cyber security incident detection, investigation and response.
  • Sound knowledge of cyber security frameworks, vulnerability management and cloud security, including exposure to ISO 27001, Microsoft Azure and tools such as Tenable Nessus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desirable: Experience in digital forensics and preservation of chain of custody, together with industry certifications such as Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500 or similar.
