About the Opportunity
We’re currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Officer to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operations of AGIG’s Treasury function, helping to ensure accurate settlements, cash flow visibility, and strong financial governance.
You’ll be responsible for preparing and processing treasury settlements, liaising with lenders, supporting intercompany transfers, managing internal reporting, and assisting with audit and compliance activities. You’ll also be involved in updating our Treasury Management System, handling banking transactions, and contributing to cash flow forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process settlements for funding, derivatives, and intercompany transactions
- Ensure timely and accurate interest payments and swaps in line with agreements
- Liaise with external lenders to confirm settlement amounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support the preparation of intercompany transfers across AGIG entities
- Monitor treasury and settlements inboxes to respond to internal and external queries
- Assist with internal and shareholder reporting, keeping stakeholders informed
- Provide support for audit requests and compliance activities
- Maintain and update the Treasury Management System with transaction details
- Help manage daily cash flow forecasts and invoice projections when required
- Prepare loan covenant certificates and ensure treasury invoices are settled accurately and on time
About You
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or treasury roles
- Strong knowledge of treasury instruments, settlements, and financial reporting
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office
- Familiarity with treasury systems, online banking platforms, and ideally SAP
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with great communication skills
- Experience in the utilities sector or knowledge of financial markets and instruments will be highly regarded
