Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages distribution networks, transmission pipelines and storage capacity. AGIG recently grew to over 1200 employees. We also manage a large contractor workforce, who provide both specialist and operating and maintenance services on AGIG’s gas distribution networks.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Treasury Services Manager to join Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) and make a meaningful contribution to our national Finance function.
Reporting to the Group Treasurer, this is a broad senior role across treasury operations, funding, financial risk, governance and reporting. You will work collaboratively with leaders across Finance, build trusted relationships with our banking partners, investors and service providers, and support positive financial outcomes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide treasury settlements and operations across multiple businesses, maintaining strong banking relationships and effective processes and controls.
- Manage treasury activities across funding, debt, investments, financial risk and cash management, contributing to AGIG’s broader financial objectives.
- Provide trusted treasury advice and work collaboratively with Finance leaders and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Coordinate the preparation, negotiation and management of treasury and banking documentation, including ISDAs, KYC requirements and financing documentation.
- Oversee treasury accounting, management reporting, year-end reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards and financial policies.
- Champion continuous improvement across treasury systems, processes, controls and reporting, working with others to identify opportunities to make the way we work simpler and more effective.
- Support, mentor and develop Treasury team members while nurturing strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, advisers and treasury service providers.
About You
You will bring treasury experience and a collaborative approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate complex financial matters clearly. You may also bring:
- Around 5 years or more of treasury experience, with a good understanding of treasury instruments, operations, controls and governance.
- Experience across areas such as debt, funding, investments, financial markets and treasury risk management.
- Knowledge of financial markets, financial instruments and accounting principles, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to different audiences.
- Experience with treasury management systems
would be helpful, but is not essential. - Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- A relevant Finance or Commerce qualification. CPA or CA membership would be welcomed but is not essential.
- Experience in utilities, energy or infrastructure would be valuable, although we equally welcome transferable treasury experience from other sectors.
